Summer is here, time to replace that A/C unit

We knew it was coming since the A/C unit was dead when we bought the house in the fall. We probably should have pressed for a seller concession to fix it but were happy enough with everything else and figured we had a lot of time to figure it out so it didn’t seem like a big deal at the time. The cost really isn’t huge at $2k but the timing was not great, still getting the two new houses off the ground, but we promised the tenants we’d get it fixed so we certainly followed through and took care of it. My house doesn’t even have A/C and I live in California so I think they are getting a good deal on this one. Hopefully this is the end of big ticket items on all these houses for a bit and we can re-group for another purchase this winter.
